Every Atena site operates under Ontario's Occupational Health and Safety Act and Ontario Regulation 213/91 for construction projects. Safety is planned into each job before work starts — site set-up, fall protection, excavation and formwork safety, PPE and public protection — and reviewed as the job changes.
Quality means building to the Ontario Building Code, to the drawings and to the inspection — the first time. Because the group's companies follow one another on a project, each one inherits work it can trust, and problems are fixed at the source instead of passed down the line.
The greenest building is one that lasts. We focus on durable construction, high-efficiency windows and doors that cut heating and cooling demand, and careful planning that reduces waste and rework. Through garden suites, laneway suites and other additional units, we help add homes to existing neighbourhoods — using infrastructure that's already there.
Our companies are built on skilled trades — formworkers, carpenters, cabinetmakers, installers and site supervisors. We invest in the people who do the work, and we work hard to be good neighbours on every street where we build.
Atena Group is the holding company for four operating companies. Each has its own management and is responsible for its own work, while the group sets shared standards for safety, quality and conduct — and stands behind the work of every company in it.
